We are back in our second home of Thailand enjoying the old style traditional Khao Shong coffee. It's very, very strong , richly flavoured. Usually served hot with about 25% sweetened condensed milk added. A great first thing in the morning coffee.

It's getting to be hot weather so I'm slowly switching to iced coffee. After a warm morning drink from my coffee place (chai latte these days, so off topic) we've been getting noice coffee to take home - they make up the ice coffee without the ice and it goes in the fridge at home for later ice addition so it doesn't get overly diluted.
My partner gets noice with vanilla shit in it and I get mine with no vanilla shit, as they mark the cups.
Long time ago I bought a nice bag of some good stuff and spent some dough to ship it to my best bud. A few months later we were hanging in person and he said, "why'd you bother to send me that old stale coffee?"
Still stinging two decades later.
feel free to drop a key of the good stuff on me
if it shrinks my eyelids i'll sing your praises

Scott waited 20 years to drink the coffee you sent him? No wonder it wasn't very good.
A friend brought over a 2# bag of coffee that she acquired somewhere unknown to me. I expressed my joy at the gift and she said "It's not the good stuff."
Honestly it tastes like I emptied the pencil sharpener into the filter. And possibly added some crickets.

Got any "friends" who might appreciate a 1.9# bag of coffee?
