In: - Kate let everything ride on the Motor City. Gutsy move and the smartest week of the season to pick them.
- NWG always knows when to pick the Jaguars. Insider info or football maven?
- Maryte took a minute from a very busy week to pick Atlanta because they're first alphabetically, after Arizona, who she thought had no chance due to their QB woes.
- I took the Jets because they were at home on Monday night against Grandpa Lecher Favre, and because I didn't know the Jets have no red zone game.
Ladies, get your picks in by 10 am PDT on Sunday. This week is as tough to pick as last week was. You made me laugh. A lot. And I've made my pick for the week. Fingers crossed.

I switched from picking Baltimore over Broncos to New Orleans over Arizona at last minute; despite Arizona being at home, I figured, well, Cards are starting a rookie QB and they have been rather awful.

He takes great pleasure in Dan Jenkins' calling them dogass in his book, Semi-Tough. Plus, he's a UCLA fan (mostly because Logan's an alumnus, IMHO). So, my affinity for Sanchez, USC, and Pete Carroll hits a nerve. He'll be pulling against me tonight, and causing The Mo to do the same. Good times!

zipper wrote:Out: - Beezus' prior week of picking against my team combined with her perverse love for the Steelers did her in.
- Shnerky was so intimidated that he "forgot" to pick.
In: - Zep went for the easy pick of Houston at the Raiders.
- Bill took the easier pick of the Chargers hosting Arizona.
- K8 and NWG scored with my favorite local hottie, Mark Sanchez.
- We almost lost Stillah to what seemed the week's easiest pick of the Cheeseheads at home over the disrespected Lions.
- Maryte fearlessly picked Cool Brees against my Panthers and barely made it through.
- Half asleep, I went with Matt Ryan because I couldn't find Matt Cassel, who was on a bye. Ryan didn't like being second choice, so he choked, and Matt Bryant came to my rescue. Yay, Matt.
We're down to seven remaining magnificent players, who should all go pick if you haven't already. Hey, I wanna play again. Everybody needs to lose!

I just didn't like many of the matchups and figured eventually I might have to pick them once I had gone through the really good teams... Whew! Still Alive!

A commercial for a crime show just played and the cop or whatever sounded like Jerry Seinfeld. So, CSI: Seinfeld flitted through my head. That'd be a kick. I'd watch it. I think I may be feverish.
