Back in the 70's I had the Buick version of that wagon. Same car except for trim. I really liked it. GM used 4 speed Hydramatics in those so the milage wasn't really awful maybe 17 ish. I sold it to a female friend and when she replaced the battery later she didn't put the hold down back and the battery fell over on a nice 100 degree day on Phoenix. It must have hit the fan as the engine compartment burst into flames and that was the end of the car. A real shame as it was almost like new before. Was really well made.
