I owned one of those damn things. Always made me feel like I was sitting in a sleazey dive bar when in it.

The most uncomfortable ride in a vehicle was on a trip to go deep sea fishing from my house to San Diego.
My dad's friend had a International Travel All.
An awful seat with a stiff ride... no bueno!

vaccum windshield wipers. These and VWs scarred me so much that I still have trouble using the wipers for just a light mist - "What If I use up the last few cycles on something like this and we really need them later?". It makes Mrs. Islander bonkers.

I "learned" to drive a stick in that car. My mother would let the 6 or 7 year old me shift. It was a long way from first to second... probably 18 inches?
My brother inherited it and proceeded to destroy it...but not until after several summers when he'd take the top off and drive it around the Jersey shore.
It was an awesome car.

My mother drove an original IH Scout... 3 speed. Was really bare-bones...noisy...bumpy...and fun.
Me next to it somewhere in Vermont in the early 70s.
