To my ear, the problem with this cover is it's like a rote reading of the lyrics that has no sense of connection to the meaning, mood, or emotion of the song and is just an exercise in production. Not every cover of any given song is automatically bad, however, a really good one is very hard to do, and of course will always be judged through the subjectivity of the listener/public.
But I'm sorry, this one is a stinker.

Hey William - Unlike all these other comments, I am not the kind of purist who finds fault with any version BUT the original. Hey everybody - time passes. Things get reinterpreted OR they get FORGOTTEN.  I happen to appreciate that they took on a tune that they really liked and did a really nice job with it. So GO GARBAGE!
