Never knew 50 Ways To Leave Your Lover and Down Under sounded so similar til I heard a Greek man cover the one and make me think it was the other!

edit: oh, you guys tricked me!

Traveling in a fried-out Kombi
On a hippie trail, head full of zombie
I met a strange lady, she made me nervous
She took me in and gave me breakfast

And she said:

Do you come from a land down under?

Where women glow and men plunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover

... etc ...

I confess that I fell for this and put it in a translator to confirm.  You got me.

Maybe you should try to add a little milk to your tea - makes more of a difference than sugar or no sugar.

What made you change your mind?
Tevi? Is that you?

Me too!  a fantastic tune too!  Great instruments, and vocals.  Guess the lead singer is Rowlph the Dog?

YES! That chorus is SO COOKIE!!! nice bit of change Thank You RP
Awesome, awesome.  The leading "YUM-dum deedle-deedle" had me hooked immediately.
At first i thought it was a cover of Men At Work's Down Under.
I really enjoyed listening to this!

Because I didn't listen too closely to language, it was nice wondering where a combination of these instruments might be from. I honestly don't know much Greek music and this is exactly what I come to RP for!

As the second comment, I have to say that having this song is exactly why I like RP! It's not my favorite song, but I love the variety and occasional unexpected recording.

I agree. I just wanted to be the first one to review the song. While I stand by my first impression, I would never discourage Bill from pushing the boundaries.

I disagree with @Ipse_Dixit!  I give it an '8' and I cared to click over to Amazon, where I was arsed to plunk down $5 for the CD!

lol.
While I was proud to be the first to review this song, you may be the first to have paid money to hear it. Regardless, enjoy.
I disagree with @Ipse_Dixit!  I give it an '8' and I cared enough  to click over to Amazon, where I was arsed to plunk down $45 for the CD!
EDIT: Wow - the ratings distribution really filled in fast!  I only saw two bars when I started my comment!

First and only comment and it is a resounding NO!

As we are inclined to do these days..I choose to disagree.  Feel like I am watching a muppet show though. Yep toe tapping good stuff !
Not that bad and lively - would be a good fit for the Eclectic/World Mix.
Cookie monster?

Thanks for playing this - I love hearing music  that I wouldn't normally hear if I was too far up my own ass on Spotify or Pandora or whatever.
First and only comment and it is a resounding NO!
