totally. the riff is definately recycled, now it makes me wonder if DMB recycled it from someone else too...
I was just about to restart my computer.. when this song came on. I had to come here to add my comment: This song is one of the best songs to ever make airplay. If you don't like it, you might simply be retarded. =)
lousy song! How doe she get airplay? She ripped "Crash" off

hmm...reminds me more of rockwell church for some reason.
I first discovered Deb Pasternak while looking for coax connectors for GPS antennas one day at work. I was looking for the Pasternack Enterprises web site (www.pasternack.com), and mistakenly forgot to type the "c" before the "k" (www.pasternak.com). I downloaded a few of her songs and though she was pretty cool. What a strange way to discover a new artist. It was worth it though...

Yes! That's why I checked the comments. Heard the first couple of bars and I thought is sounded like some kind of cover version of DMB's Crash.

Got some Shaun Mullins-like guitar sounds...
I first learned about Deb Pasternak from her absolutely gorgeous song Willomena.

You are a very lucky person to have her as a neighbor. I remember her from her performances years ago in a coffeehouse in North Hollywood, CA called the Iguana cafe. It's nice to hear through your review that she has kept her intrinsic purity of craft.
It's got a nice, subtle quaility. I love the way the drummer lays down his part. It reminds me of a drummer I know, who's best in playing this sort of laid-back drumming, creating a mellow mood, but who pretty much fails when it needs to be aggresive. Not too many musicians combine those different sort of characteristics.

As soon as such a clear and loving voice sings, I'm hypnotized. This one seems so authentic
This lady\'s music is very cool.
