It's interesting to hear Charles on the B3, on which he is as skilled as the piano. It's not that uncommon to have a keyboardist who's equally facile with both, but I think rare to find someone who's world class on both. Steve Winwood comes to mind; maybe Billy Preston. Others?

Keith Emerson. Rick Wakeman.

EXCELLENT TUNE!!  I agree!  Thanx Rp!
The man was sheer genius.
Got a real Perez Prado sound going on there.
My dad used to sing this song all the time; One little tulip, was the cause of it all.{#Mrgreen}

I'm mostly the other way around. Ray Charles is mostly Ho-Hum for me, for all that he's a genius and rightly a major star, but I really dig the big band sound of this number, daddy-o. I love the honking saxes and wailing horns. Mind you, I used to play in a big school band in my youth, so I'm a bit biased towards the big band sound. 8 from the nostalgic Nottingham jury.

You realize that in today's political climate that can mean only one thing?

OMG I love this! Thanks for playing!
Always love Ray but this arrangement is awful.
its a while since I made a mint julep, must make one (or three) again sometime soon
Swank, baby!
Reminds me of "Mario Paint" —amirite??
where has this gem been all my life?

Never been played?? Hmmm. Also, it's "One Mint Julep" and it should be credited to its proper original album, Genius + Soul = Jazz.
