I was there in 1995 when Jesse crashed the Catalina Jazz Festival and made for a memorable debut. We were just feet away from him as he performed an incredible jam session in the concourse area. The organizers saw this, too, and found him stage time because...they had to, he was so damn good.

Go see him live if you get a chance. He's incredible, and has a fantastic band with him as well.

I see him every time he comes to town...8 times and counting.
The more I hear this tune, the more I like it!!  Thanx RP!

DO IT!

Cut off your nose  to spite your face.

Please send us a picture of you without
- hair

LMAO

Dumb enough to be an American!
Unexpected stuff like this is why RP is my favorite. It is different
Awesome guitar playing
and the band is fantastic
you can not  stop body parts
from moving all on there own
I play a Darbuka from time to time (the Turkish drum playing in the background). I just love the energy it gives and this track has reminded me to dust it off and annoy the neighbours.
I like Jesse Cook!

JEEEZ - you guys spend too much time listening to weather on the phone. Maybe you got the Turkish weather channel?
I dream of Byzantium........Weather Channel music? What?? Are you nuts?
It gets me moving at my desk!

LOL! That is exactly what this is, this song was commissioned by the Weather Channel.
huh, well I liked it

sounds like weather channel local forecast music, or put you on hold forever music.

Nope. Does nothing for me. I can't stop envisioning some middle-eastern airline advertising all the wonderful sand-filled destinations they travel to. Whilst simultaneously intermixing a stomach-jiggling veil-swooshing woman fluttering her eyes erotically. :-k
This is awesome. If this is what on-hold music sounded like, I would start calling Qwest for fun.

How on earth could you think this is that awful? No @#%&*+ way! Fabulous in my mind, full of rhythm and sway and passion!
The sort of music they play on certain radio stations, when they've (unforeseen) got time left before the commercials or news

Which is also more accurate, referring to place rather than culture, since the influences sound more Ottoman than Greek. Wonder if he's been in the Great Cisterns(I once dreamed of Byzantium myself) One of the best of Jesse's I've heard.

Hey! I uploaded that very song hcg11 and Rebecca accepted it. I love it as well. Fall At Your Feet
