And I want to be down
And I want to get up
And I want to lay low
And I want to be loved
But a dream makes noise, you better check your head
Ambition is mine and it's heavy as lead
The sum of any outcome
Undone

And I want find peace
And I want to get through
And I want come clean
And I want to be true
As I turn a page on a life less lived
All I have I would gladly give
The sum of any outcome
Undone

I am mine, I am mine again
I recognize who it is that I am
I am mine, I am mine again
Can any one tell me where I've been?
I am mine, I am mine again
All we've lost is time in the end
Waiting for the sum of any outcome
Undone

And I want to find faith
And I want to be sure
And I want to say less
And I want to know more
I am not alone, I never have been
We are all one, we divide within
The sum of any outcome
Undone

I am mine, I am mine again
I recognize who it is that I am
I am mine, I am mine again
Can any one tell me where I've been?
I am mine, I am mine again
All we've lost is time in the end
Waiting for the sum of any outcome
Undone

I'll love you is already a done thing, I'll not do would be a mistake.
Undone trascends the threshold, and already in future.
Because, the human mind can take so much.

Generic tune. Crap name for an artist.

BEST SONG OF MISTER JANIS JOPLIN!
"8-9"

This is curious ... I never heard this song before and yet I have it rated a "10." Even if I'd heard it, I probably would give it a 7 or maybe 8. And when I checked my song ratings, it isn't there! Could Bill & Rebecca's site have been hacked or something?

He's from Georgia, they all sing like that. Michael Stipe and Kate Pierson sound exactly alike, too.

{#Cowboy}

I'm hearing REM too.
I guess Josh Joplin's family must be keen RP listeners - well how else can you explain 5 people giving this a 10? Surely 10 is for something really outstanding ... ie not this.
I never have seen the REM comparison.

Good album, haven't listened to it in a while though.

Bought it a few years ago based on this song, and was quite happy with it.

During the choruses I agree. Not so much during the spoken verse parts.

I bounce between liking and disliking the song from one note to the next. Overall, I give it a 6.
Quality. More Josh Joplin please.
undone and overproduced

Before and between choruses it sounds nothing like Michael Stipe. On the choruses it sounds like Michael Stipe. hmmm...

I like the lyrics more than the music...
a forgettable tune...

Was gonna make the same comment. 7/10 just for sounding like Michael.
American Idol here I come!

Good Track... GREAT CD. Let's hear I've Changed and Gravity!
Agreed. Gravity is an excellent song. As for the Michael Stipe connection, Josh even begins 'Happy at Last" with the line: "I sound like Mchael Stipe, I dream like Carl Jung and I look just like a show girl who sleeps with her makeup on." Self aware, self depracating, all in all his album shows excellent lyricism. As for sounding like someone else. Hey, that's the voice he was born with!
sounds like REM in a Tijuana nightclub. but i like it.
oh, wait. yeah. it got there.
this song is almost not irritating.
We are all one, divided within...undone. Very spiritual. Right on RP! :meditate.gif:
This is my least favorite Josh Joplin song, but it still deserves a 5. More JJ on RP!
Yes, he has a very Michael Stipe-ish voice.

So was the talk earlier of a new CD this spring, just talk? Or does anyone know anything more about it? I can't find it on CDNow. Nevermind ... the JJGroup website says that the new cd will be out in the fall.
I liked this one initially, then i grew weary hearing it every day. Now that\'s it\'s been a while, i remember why i enjoyed it in the first place. Nice pop song.

This does not suck...6/10
My favorite song from one of my favorite records. Easily gets my vote for the best of 2001.
