Nothin' butt the bass!

They were sort of a second-tier goth band before goth was a genre. Lots of Siouxsie, Gene Loves Jezebel, Shriekback disco dance party sounds. Not terrible at all.  Not that I would listen to it on a regular basis, but I get it.  Lead singer sounds a bit like Alex Harvey.  I'm a fan of Siouxsie and have some of her stuff.  Her cover of Dear Prudence is my favorite version.

I love how it's a 40th anniversary edition of an album I've never heard of.

The only thing I'd ever heard about that band was that they were associated with U2 - apparently two of the members were in earlier bands with Bono, and the Edge's older brother was a guitar player in the band.

How about bad covers from popular artists?
I don't care for the album covers from Radiohead and Drive-By Truckers

If that's the album with "Before she breaks my heart", the content more than makes up for the cover art!

My father played that repeatedly when I was a kid.

Their first (only?) LP that wasn't just numbered. I always thought they were trying to do something like Springsteen but now that I look at it, maybe just the idea of wrapping the photo around to the back.
