I'm having all sorts of issues with RP on android auto. RP will freeze up, will play songs but display incorrect information, will play My Favorites but nothing else, or will play My Favorites for a short while before freezing up. I cleared this once by uninstalling and re-installing the app on my phone. I'll give it another shot tonight. Just mentioning this as others may have the same issue, and hopefully it will be sorted out in the next update.
If you're only seeing this when using Android Auto.
Can try another USB cable, shorter the better.
That sorted out similar issues in the past.

The"Displayed" song / lyrics etc are completely different to whats actually playing.
First noticed it about a month or so ago, its now to the point where maybe 20% of songs are wrong?
When listening to 'My Favourites' all are on my favourties list tho.
Simultaneously, have noted some songs (esp. when wrong) only play about 1/2 way through, then change to a different song - and the new song always matched that displayed.
Possible database issue as something gets re-synced?
This happens on 2 computers, using Slimbrowser (Firefox fork) on one, and Chrome on the other.

playing my favorites & the song listed playing is 'man of constant sorrow' by the soggy bottom boys, but a booker t song is playing out my speakers
next song is fine ('dreadlock holiday' by 10cc)
...ha. ok, 7 songs later bob dylan's hurricane shows up, but some tool song is playing (vicarious)
Everything should be back to normal by now, or shortly. Sorry about that. A totally routine update on something seemingly unrelated, thatâs all it took. But weâre on it.
Just checked my mobile stream. Turned Wifi off and RP appears to be working again over mobile data.
Fingers crossed the issue is now resolved !!

Same here for about last 5 days. I get RP over WiFi fine, but on mobile network only RP promo - I see the graphic for the track, but it doesnât play. Thanks for helping.
1st Jan 2025 Radio Paradise not working here in the UK via mobile data (certainly using EE mobile data). Other users have reported similar issues.. Seems OK via WiFi.
Also in UK not working on EE Wi-Fi. Getting the announcements but no musicâ¦.

Happens across both of our Mobile companies ( Telstra and Optus )
Happens on 2 different iPhones ( 6s+ IOS 15.8 and Xr IOS 18.2 ) both running the RP app
Works fine on ADSL (FTTN) internet at home. ( fibre to the node, then copper to the house ) Firefox and Opera
I contacted my mobile provider and they had less than a clue.
I asked the operator if she could elevate it to their tech department, but it will not be a problem with them. It is obviously further upstream than the mobile companies.

Iâm not getting any music anymore. I get the channel announcement (Youâre listening to the..,part, plus the foreign language part that follows that) and then nothing. If I refresh, it starts with the announcement again and then nothing (again). Happens on Firefox browser and on iOS app on my phone. Wahhhhh!
