So I was with my buddy yesterday and I saw his skid marks and the lack of Amazons marks except for the 1 foot skid from the truck.  They were literally 2 streets from their home. He’s been taking some happy pills for the pain and I had to dodge all the bumps in the road so we could go watch the games at our other friends house. They really dodged a bullet by 2 feet. Unfortunately their car was totaled and trying to find a car is going to be a challenge.

So while he was still in the hospital the nurse came into his room and said your lawyer is here. He said he’s not my lawyer he’s my friend.

Have you ever dealt with lawyers and insurance companies?  By the time they get through the courts, gas for life might not seem like such an extravagance.

Assuming they have health insurance, the real "damages" are going to be limited.  The insurance companies will have to fight it out between themselves.

The most important thing in the short term... Hopefully, they have good auto insurance that will provide them with a reasonable value on their totaled vehicle immediately.

I got the good news that no vertebrate fractures which was the best one could expect. Possible slight concussion because of headache and dizziness from the air bag deployment and the released him from the hospital late last night. Just a lot of pain to recover from.

Now come the pain of trying to replace his wife’s totaled car which had 3 months to pay off. Isn’t that the way in life! One step forward and two back.
Used cars are hard to come by and are over priced as are the loans.

Looking for some good vibes and thoughts. My closest buddy Brad and his wife got T-Boned by an Amazon delivery truck that ran a stop sign last night 2 streets from their home. Thank God they were in the Infinity for safety reasons. She got released but he is in for a CT scan and an MRI today because they were afraid he might have broken his neck and possible internal bleeding. He doesn’t need that kind of trouble since he’s had neck problems and a fused spine in the past. Im still waiting to hear some good news today. Thanks
