Still digging though photos my mom had.
Found this one with my grandmother and 6 of some of her sisters. No brothers in this shot.
She was the youngest of 13. And is the one who looks like she doesn't want to be there. {#Lol}
I only met one of her sisters... Pearl. She's the one with the big hair and wearing the black bow.
She was a real character. She lived in San Pedro, California. And is buried next to her mom there.
Both of her sons worked in shipbuilding and died fairly young.
Unfortunately, I lost track of all their kids.

That's a cool photo - really intriguing. Yeah, that younger girl does not look at all happy to be there.

Looks like another itty-bitty to me.  The mamas sort of group together and form nurseries.

This is one of the most spectacular shots I've ever seen.  Pronghorn babies are notoriously hard to snap, and the photog for this one claims to have shot it with a 60mm lens.

We get them here for seafair. We get some really cool flybys in the downtown buildings, but they always close the bridges when they are doing passes.

{#Yes} I was visiting my brother in San Leandro while it was going on once and for some reason we were doing something in the city.  I was duly impressed.  My first thought was so this is what it's like to live in Beirut.  After you've been walking around for awhile with it going on all day though you do stop looking up all the time.

Here is the story for the pic (and its not from FAUX):

Man captures unbelievable photo of Blue Angel fighter jet buzzing the Golden Gate Bridge at 350 mph
