I convinced my friend's boyfriend to dress as a golfer who'd been struck by lightening. Singed pants, hair on end, black streaks on his face and he carried a golf club, of course. We could not convince the other woman to go as a jogger who'd been hit by a car (tire marks on her jogging clothes, etc). So the triumvirate of wasn't complete. Still one of my most imaginative, and cheap costumes.

so...what are some of your favorite, or most successful halloween costumes?  my best one ever was the wicked witch of the EAST: before. 


i made myself a pair of ruby slippers, i had the striped tights, and the typical witch costume.....with a tiny house suspended high above my pointed hat, on a wire.  if i recall correctly, which i clearly may not,  it won the best costume at druid labs that year.  my ex husband was brilliant at making costumes, and he was a flying monkey....a really good one, too, for home made.
