I´m missing the info about how often a song was played in the last 30 days and please change the backgroundcolours in the infoview. I find it hard to read .
That gray background on the info view has been the subject of many a discussion around here. I'm not quite happy with it yet. I like the look, but find it hard to read long blocks of text.
Each one of our channels will have a page that shows the most-played, and most recently added, songs for that channel — as well as a scrolling playlist history that goes back for as long as the channel has been around. We'll work on a way to access the plays-per-channel data from the song info pages, but the way we did it before isn't compatible with expanding our channel lineup.
Not sure if it's just me, but I can't scroll with the new site. Like, at all. Center mouse button doesn't work. Arrow keys don't work. Windows 10, Firefox 103.0.2.
Hmm, haven't done a side-by-side listening, and probably just the newness effect, but the flac stream sounds slightly better, wider soundstage?
The audio is the same on both sites.
We have made some audio quality improvements lately, mostly by updating a bunch of our older music files to better (in many cases high-resolution) masters. But that will be audible everywhere. Everywhere with good gear, anyway :-)
Not sure what happened with the blog comments. I suspect they're just temporarily MIA rather than lost. The system is copying me on all comments, so I've read them. Thanks for all of the kind words!
None of us here use Firefox — and these days you don't need to do the kind of cross-browser debugging that you once did — so we weren't aware of the Firefox scrolling issue. I'm sure it's an easy fix. Apologies to you FF partisans for not catching that, as we should have.
The mobile player still is not behaving properly. After starting it, tap the "i" icon for the most useful display. We'll have that sorted out by the end of the week, I suspect.

Really nice, more modern feel. Quick comments: Some might like to run it in dark mode. It would be nice if there was either a choice, or the system ran off of the default on the machine. There is a lot of white when in the forums, etc....might be nice to tone that down.
The other thought I had... The people that come to the landing page are new to RP. Those people arrive there looking for music. I think it would be helpful to display "what's playing" somewhere nearby....on the top part of the screen.
You could limit the headphones to 80% or 90% of the width and put the album cover and song name to the right (with the play button moving left with the reduced size of the headphone pic). Maybe a short list of the last 3 or 5 songs. Maybe below the graphic? Give people a reason to press the play button beyond the graphics.
Is there no scroll bar...or is it really hard to see? I am using chrome on a Mac, and the bar is there (when it's appropriate...), but it's nearly invisible.
Nevermind...it's not there. Opened in Firefox...no scrolling (not even on the mouse).
Yeah, it's a dark gray scrollbar - in Chrome, Vivaldi, Brave, and MS Edge. No scrolling in Firefox for me either though, even with the mouse wheel. Using a Windows 10 desktop.
First observation - no scroll bar! And can the little music arrow be just a little bit bigger (like another 2-3 pixels high?)
I am on PC - Firefox.

Right now I can't scroll up or down on any of the pages. I don't even see a vertical scroll bar. I'm using Firefox 104.0.1 on an Intel Mac running MacOS 10.14.6 .
Same here, can't scroll with mouse wheel, middle click, or Page Up/Down. Same version of Firefox, but on Windows 10.
Sounds great! I was wondering if we needed to re register our member name. I made a comment over there which used my current avatar (now former) but used a word association from my settings for member name.
I was making a comment just beneath yours (or was it haresfur?) when the page refreshed and they both disappeared.
Now the original comments are back and the two I posted to the blog *after* the refresh are not there. So something's wonky.
So it will take some getting used to but I posted a comment and hit return as one does on the Facebook and all was well and I also left and came back and my comment was there but it was grayed out and the "comments" tally hadn't updated. After a while I noticed the black "Comment" button and yes I'll get used to it but the thought (if you can call it that) went through my head "I wonder if I'm supposed to click that, or if that will open a new dialog box?" Clicked it, comment posted. Okay then.
