As the House finished their vote to reopen the federal government and raise the debt ceiling, the House stenographer decided it was a good time to let everyone know her feelings about God, Congress, and the Freemasons.
“He {God} will not be mocked,” the stenographer, apparently named Molly, yelled into the microphone as she was dragged off by security. “The greatest deception here is that this is not one nation under God. It never was. It would not have been. The Constitution would not have been written by Freemasons. They go against God. You cannot serve two masters. Praise be to God. Praise be to Jesus.”
Uh, no two masters but then gives split billing (and what about that holy ghost dude?). I really don't know who to listen to anymore.

The Problem is the loud yelling is most often perceived as 1) Theatre 2) Emotions run amuck 3) Attempt to keep others from speaking. Not to mention very little gets done with a hot head.
That being said, the problems Dylan is concerned about are the wrong ones; Entitlement spending can be reasonably reformed without hanging current seniors out to dry (after paying in throughout their working lives) but it is the complete lack and near denial of any attempts to go after where the BIG, CORRUPT MONEY IS GOING.
(Hint: Its not seniors, minorities or disabled)
Its in Political Coffers, in Lobbyists who number nearly 10 for each member of Congress. Its in the Subsidies we give Corporations for moving offshore. Its in the Subsidies we are STILL paying after nearly 100 years to the Gas and Oil Industries (that do not need it), its in the Bloated Leviathan of our Military Industrial Complex, its in the corrupt profit taking off of American Medicines when other countries negotiate drug prices...
Dylan's screaming and dominating the message for over 10 minutes, appeals to the emotional and incendiary tendency of the TeaGOP that wish to cut Seniors, the Disabled, the Working Poor ... and completely ignore the other issues mentioned above. That type of emotional prostitution is sorely misinterpreted by the uninformed masses who still believe Obama is a muslim and Women use abortion as a weight loss program.
I appreciate many of his thoughts on finance, but even HE knows, we need revenue. Has anyone cared to count exactly HOW many Federal Disasters have been proclaimed just since 2010? How many billions of that did CONGRESS agree to vote for.... but for some reason, its 'Obama's' Spending?
Well played, Mr. Cruz. Well played. That Harvard pedigree is really shining through.
Hi there, flanigan. I remember our home-boy status, so this is not applicable where it is not applicable, just tossing it out there. It is kinda humorous, however, when you think of all the congresspeople and our president (a descendant of slave-traders and slave-owners) that have made themselves their own higher power. I know I should not assume, but the symbology in the above picture is not ambiguous, is it? I would probably be disposed to think that Jesus was somehow (at one time) important in your life. Perhaps as a formative reference? Do me a solid, and help me figure it out. Not just you, but all of it. Thanks in advance...

Glad to hear the Democrats are doing so fine, how are their supposed constituents or some would say generational subservients (poor people) doing and how about the financial situation of our children and grandchildren? As for the yelling, he couldn't yell loud enough imo.
Yelling, especially in a process (elections) that require at some collegiality, seldom works positively for the "speaker" and frequently does just the opposite.
I said the Dem's are in fine shape; I did not say the people. I have personally been pushed out of the middle class just by what the guy is talking about. But the Rep's have so many huge problems, that as of now anyway, Dem's are looking good (as probable election winners), even if just by comparison. I am not endorsing any party or candidate. Waaaay too soon for that!

Quite the screed. He makes some valid points, especially about "bought" politicians and the corrupt banking system. Yelling doesn't help though, except perhaps to relieve his personal frustration. BO should have more cojones on this especially since he is not personally running again and his party is in fine shape.
"Money is the root of all evil in politics", as one commentator remarked. Too bad it has become the mother's milk of a co-opted political system.
