Sure, President Obama has kowtowed to Big Business. They're the ones who have all the money, after all. But what on Earth does the color of his skin have to do with anything?
Prof west is just pissed because he wanted to be bho's bestie and he didn't get invited to the inauguration party.

PROF CORNELL WEST. . . A TRUE PROGRESSIVE AND TRUTH SPEAKER:
"It is not that Obama is not black enough, as some think West was saying. It is about the dishonesty, deceit and corruptness of Obama. What everyone should be praising West for is that he correctly made the point that Wall Street oligarchs and corporate plutocrats have stolen the US government by using vast sums of money to corrupt both Democrat and Republic

Yes. Considering the numbing effects of new age political correctness & the pharmaceutical lobotomization of vast segments of the populace, even oversimplification such as this can be a stretch. Just witness the reactions I've had in the past when I've tried to lift the veil on this stuff. Some of those reactions coming from yourself if I remember correctly...? Or maybe not.

Here is my conspiracy theory:
If McCain had gotten elected, his government very quickly would have been run by the shadow government a la Dick Cheney, eventually SP would have been put into power, and the NeoCons would have had the run of the country.
This would have been a very different scenario from Obama as president.
The NeoCons do have the run of the country. Obama is doing exactly as they would hope. Obama has continued Bushs' war policies and his economic policies in giving Wall Street, Big Pharma, the HC Insurance industry and Multi National corps such as General Electric all the deals they asked for. Obama has strengthened the Federal Reserve by putting Goldman Sachs guy Geithner in the Treasury. The only difference is Obama's unflagging support of public employees unions and not using domestic fuel resources.
