That street is a relatively narrow one-way, more like a side street, but there is access to a freeway a few blocks up, so some out-of-town truck drivers must take it as a shortcut, or by using their GPS device. Other than that stretch of about four or five blocks near the downtown (Main St), it's primarily a residential street, so it seems odd that large trucks are on it so often - but there are a lot of restaurants and other businesses around there. A lot of the trucks seem to be moving trucks, Duke University's East Campus and a lot of student housing is near there too, so the moving trucks may have been employed by students.  There may even be a "no trucks" or "trucks use other route." sign at the ends of each preceding block - I'll check.

I didn't realize NBC News had done a spot on it.

I hadn't noticed this post before.  I thought the location looked familiar; that bridge is a few blocks from where I work.  I drive under it almost every day on the way home, and I have seen trucks stuck under it before and debris on the sides of the road.  In some of the shots you can see some sort of detector in front of it that flashes a bright warning that your vehicle is too tall, but it gets ignored apparently. There is a heavy steel beam set up several feet in front of it as a "crash bar" to protect the bridge.

Flat Earth vs. Sphere Earth group on facebook.

    • If this is an accurate depiction of sun and moons path, please explain how south africa, most of south america, australia or anywhere outside the red circle doesnt see the back side of the moon.

    • Can this group be changed to Flat Earth V Oblate Spheroid Pear Shapedness as per the official NASA story please

    • A couple years back I took a ride in my cousin's cropduster. We went way high in the air. Even higher than all the trees. I didn't see any curveture on earth anywhere and we flew really far all the way to my Uncle Derrick's house. I don't know how many distance that is in feet but it's further than some distances are. So explain all that with your big college thinky thoughts you roundies. Ha!
