You didn't give an observation, you insulted people who watch it.  There is a big difference.  Why can't you just post opinions instead of insults?  I don't take it personally, but I do find it a little over-reaching on your part.  I could post a bunch of nonsense about how some of the music recommendations  you post, that I've checked out, are utter and complete crap, IMHO, but I don't.  I just chalk it up to different taste and say nothing.  I guess I'm tired of seeing you post opinions as if yours is the only one that counts and the rest of us are fools for not being in agreement.   You used to be quite the agreeable fellow.  Lately, you've just gotten mean.

In a single sentence, why can't you just be respectful of other peoples taste in music, tv or whatever?  I respect your right to post recommendations for music that I find insipid without my comments.  How about you respect our right to watch tv that you find inspid without insult?

What part of my quote say's that? Here it is again to save you scrolling down "Seems to me like another tv show aimed at those with an IQ of 10 and a gold  medal in watching shite" So no, I'm not putting a spin on anything. You have taken what I said out of context and out your OWN spin on it! Please don't fall into the same habits as many people do on here and start taking what I or others say, changing the odd word slightly or saying it a slightly different way, and then quoting them back to me (us) and then arguing against them. That's not the way to have a proper discussion and you know it.

As for my musical recommendations, feel free to give your opinion on them, it's a free world man.
err, no. I am giving my opionion and YOU are presuming that i think they are the only one that counts, I don't. Just because I don't agree with something someone say's or have a different opinion to many people on here doesn't mean I'm wrong or right, it's just my opinion. If you don't like that then there's nothing much I can do about that. If you just want everyone to be in agreement about everything all the time then I'm afraid you are in the wrong place.

Nice!  That will be an interesting pair.  I wonder if his character is going to be a "bad boy" or campy like most of the rest of the cast.  I vote for campy because it will be fun to see him play a part like that for a change.

I'm a far cry from a low IQ and only watch selected programs... Glee is tops on my list because its funny, its entertaining and is a well written satire.  Not to mention, I really like show tunes.  Even if it wasn't; even if it was some gawd-awful, sensationalizing reality show —- why is it your concern what other people watch?  I get the impression that you're one of those people who has to assert his superiority by belittling others.  It doesn't make you big.  It makes you petty.

Just for the record, I know two Masters Degree level musicians who watch Glee.  They both make their living as musicians.  They both watch Glee when their schedules permit.  Are you going to claim them to be uneducated, stupid or classless too?

I would not normally watch a show like this, but it is done in a clever way, the humor is tongue in cheek, the kids are extremely talented and not stereotypical, and Jane Lynch pulls it all together with her over the top performance. (Her rendition of Vogue was fascinating.)

It's just a fun show, with a little melodrama, and very well done.

Not everything in life has to be serious and relevant.
