let's get some new/old threads going.
How is everyone's gardens?
we're in a really bad drought right now. wildfires. weather is way too warm for this time of year, the leaves are still clinging to the trees but the color has been nice.

41st latitude, mid-August. If you're a little behind schedule you still might be in luck.

Itâs small progress and Iâll take it.
You should have had a robin or chipmunk instead of a fly. More filling & there would have been berries left for you.

My favorite are the Cherokee purples. I didn't get a picture, but we made sammies this weekend. Oh my garsh.
I have a ton to pick this afternoon.

Noice. So far here:
cucumbers
green beans
strawberries
oregano/mint
kale
fennel
raspberries
blueberries (for the squirrels, dangit)
yellow squash
But, in a few months, we leave on a vacation that will keep us away until next June. So, by the time we're back, it should be a mess. Probably need to overseed with something like clover.
