Speak plain he said
But didn't see
He acted that way and held me like a cup

Fill me up
Then pour me out
Therein lies the doubt
We had the same feelings at opposite times

When a good man and a good woman
Can't find the good in each other
Then a good man and a good woman
Will bring out the worst in the other
The bad in each other oohhh

But what and how
To find us now
When we've become two
Fluorescently blue
Down the neon river
The sadness canoes
Either without or with her

When a good man and a good woman
Can't find the good in each other
Then a good man and a good woman
Will bring out the worst in the other

When a good man and a good woman
Can't find the good in each other
Then a good man and a good woman
Will bring out the worst in the other
The bad in each other

actually,I think it's 10/9
Another stunning talent from Alberta Canada, same as Joni Mitchell. Nice.

Waltz time?
Ahhhh...the incomparable Leslie Feist. How I love you so. I still remember the first time I saw her perform this song live. Mesmerising!

I think it unfair to judge these songs while playing hockey.

Then he should put down the xbox controller.
Yes, still is.

Wow. How full you are of youness. Still, I can't get my head around that Kathleen Edwards dirge, "Goodbye California", so I'm giving you that statement and reserve all my rights to whine about Edwards.
....love this song.......love this album........love this feist........
It's just not daring enough for me.  Too safe.

bump - watching her do that guitar riff live was very impressive.

I saw her do this on "Later Live with Jools Holland" the other night. I think it works better live but it is a very cool song and so much more interesting than some of the stuff she does that makes it to commercial radio. Good choice, Bill!

Very distinctive, love it! Like others said, the guitar riff is really something else!

Leslie's arranger does good work.
I'm in the "meh" zone{#Rolleyes}....Why am I not feeling this?  Grabbed me at the start then seemed to go no where except for that noodly guitar break{#Guitarist}
boring
For this song...meh
crap
She won me over with this album.  The guitar riff is unbelievable...almost expected Otis Taylor to start singing.
I got tired of the "Fiest phenomenon" very quickly but I actually am liking a lot of the stuff I'm hearing from this album.  Less cutesy, more depth to her music.

Good point.
This is the best Feist song I've heard in a while.
7 -> 8 for me.  It's really growing on me.  Musically and vocally.  Nice composition.

I keep meaning to give her a good listen- I like the stuff from her I've heard so far.
this album is supreme sauce from start to finish!

Same here on account of the tricksy percussion, though at least Feist has a volume setting on her voice below stridently loud (I do like Florence, honest, but she's not exactly subtle in her singing).

This doesn't sound like a catchy 'pop' song. All right Feist!
she wears her influences well without wearing them OUT...
This album might have some legs...
Nice so far
