Let's get drunk on Saturday
Walk on Primrose Hill
Until we lose our way
We'll get sunburned on the grass
Playing silly buggers 'till I make a pass
And you laugh at my face

Unemployed in summertime
I've only just turned 21, I'll be OK
Unemployed in summertime
Don't need money 'cause we're young
I'll just stay awake till the morning
With make up all over my face

Sorry don't get mad at me
I just did the sex quiz
From your magazine
You're my best friend in the world
Just like me you don't do
Anything you're told

Unemployed in summertime
I've only just turned 21, I'll be OK
Unemployed in summertime
Don't need money 'cause we're young
I'll just stay awake till the morning
With make up all over my face

On a mission for my summer kiss
I close my eyes and wet my lips
But then I miss, and you laugh at my face

Unemployed in summertime
I've only just turned 21, I'll be OK
Unemployed in summertime
Don't need money 'cause we're young
I'll just stay awake till the morning
With make up all over my face

Unemployed in summertime
I've only just turned 21, I'll be OK

HEY I was just gonna say that...and in any case, that's a good thang, ain't it...I sure like to hear sultry, passionate-sounding ladies sing!
Nice pairing with Zero 7! I like it and she's quite lovely too!!
I guess she is right. If you have to be unemployed, make it summertime.
BerryNice!
She has a very sexy voice.... And quite beautiful too!!
sweet and sultry!

bit of a trainwreck there, DJ!
(hits the wikipedia) Ah! I knew I'd heard this voice before, she's worked with Oakenfold, Gus Gus and Thievery Corporation. Wonderful!! And how 'bout that easily-identifiable Icelandic accent, heh.

Quite enjoyable. Never heard of her before. Kinda of Bjork-y.
If you saw the second of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, she sang the closing song of the movie, "Gollum's Song". Quite an amazing performance.

TOTALLY!!! No question about it, I thought it was another cover (Check out Dino Jr's cover) Total utter riff-off!!

She does have an interesting voice. She sang Gollum's Song in the Two Towers, and I found her voice very compelling.
... Unemployed in Summertime? ... ... RP for me! ...

I enjoyed her album Fisherman's Woman more, but it's true that she has a compelling voice.
Wow - I could have sworn this was Erin McKeown (a good thing... *grin*). Nice song!
