Man. I don't get it. This sucks. I like Ryan Adams less and less each time I hear him. Bleh. Make it stop!

hehe, I know this ain't his best. But his latest album (rock 'n roll) is a little tounge in cheek... think of it as everybody's rockin' for the noughties :)

My best guess: drugs. Lots of drugs. I haven't listened to the whole CD that carefully, but I think fans of his earlier stuff will probably want to wait for the post-rehab CD that's undoubtedly in his future (assuming he lives that long).
Maybe this CD will grow on me, but it seems obvious that he has some "lifestyle issues". Hope he gets a handle on them.
Has it got any better Bill?
Sounds like someone in the band is a T.Rex fan...
Listen to this CD again after seeing him live.....it has taken it to a whole other level for me....
Rock N Roll ain't alt-country, baby....but once you get past that it's amazing!! Appreciate Ryan Adams for his versatility if nothing else.

i'd love it if we could hear some Whisky Town, too. can't say i like this new direction...
not necessarily bad, by any means, but i have heard a lot more interesting stuff from this guy.
let's try some Matt Pond instead. much more interesting singer/songwriter.
