I sincerely appreciate the talent and culture behind this piece; however, the digeridoo is too much for my silly American ears...
brilliant segue from Masters of Reality's She Got Me; it stopped time for second, than made me laugh out loud, thank you Bill
RIP Graham Wiggins (the dij player on this track).

I'd pay money to see that.....in an outdoor venue

In the '90s buskers with didgeridoos were fairly common in bigger cities in the Netherlands.
No sir I didn't like it.  And I have a didge which I can play a bit

Didgeridoo, or Didgeridon't? T'is the question.
RP crushing it! Baka...what a polyethnic, rhythmic, digi acoustical mashup! The Outback album has been at the top of my list since it was released!
please please no didj music. Argh!
Nice. Kinda dreading a play of any The Shins song today. Just don't care to get all jacked up on the nervous thing right now.
Fantàstica guitarra. Val molt la pena.
I like this, going to listen to the album. If you like didgeridoo music, try Gondwanaland too.
fun! (woooo whadda weirdoo, woooo whadda weirdoo  : )
Think this is the soundtrack at the Steakhouse?
Very interesting and different. Very relaxing.

As an earlier poster said I imagine it would get a little samey after a while. Just the sort of thing to find on random or a mix CD.

Wow, I love this!
I love talking didgeridoos...
Sounds like it's saying "whoa, what a weirdo... whoa, what a weirdo... whoa, what a weirdo..."

Can you play some Deftones ?
very nice mellow version of midnight oil

George: How do you light this thing?

Good point; good tune too.

I have this CD, it's OK if you place it in rotation with other CD's. If you play it strait through, it can get a bit too much as a result of that thing that that guy is blowing into. IMO
Interesting sound. Comes across like a laid back jam, a little directionless on occasion but pleasant. Yes, 3 cheers to RP. Almost makes me want to test RP's limits by uploading some québécois pop and French Slam music.
You call that a knife? This is a knife!
Music like this is why I listen to RP.
Like this astonishing sound of a well-played Didgereedoo.
These guys are great! Nice and relaxing.

At my bowling alleys, if you don't bowl underarm, they kick you out. There's a big sign that says, "No lofting balls."

Yeah, especially when the play (lawn) bowls It's a kind of atonement or recompense for being descended from deported criminals...

U'll just have eat lots of beans & spicey food and work on u'r muscle control
such an amazing sound.
Very interesting, I enjoyed that. Once again, the only place I'm hearing music like that is on the internet!!
I need some more Doe...Bro
hey that's some great picking :)
maybe it's time I upload some David Hudson (and buy myself another didj!)
Nice . Long song though. Think the DJ's on the can.

Yes they are. And at least one of them is a wizard.

Like this sort of stuff. Incidentally, why upon seeing a didgeridoo being played do I automatically consider the lungs needed for hitting on some mammoth bong?
Come now, have you ever seen a hippie drum circle WITHOUT a didgeridoo?

I've got a fever. And the only prescription is - MORE DIDJ

Love the digeridoo transition into this song.

Coincidence?? Odd thing happened to me today, I broke out a didgeridoo I bought on-line over 6 years ago (and never played) and I am committed myself to learn the instrument, circular breathing and all.... all I needed was some relaxing didgeridoo music to borrow from.... thanks RP, you are always on key for me.

If you really dig digeri/blues, check out Xavier Rudd. Though I don't think he uses his butt to play it.

I travelled to Sydney and had the great pleasure of listening to guys play the didgeridoo street side. Then you get to go over to "The Rocks" buy your own and just really bugger it up. Some will give imprompto lessons. Extremely talented and fun.

Well keep practicing....in Segoverkia. Along the way, you might want to take lessons from this guy: https://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3929684751749233

Now that's what I would call talent! Of couse, I'm not sure how many people would come to see you in concert...

first time I hear something with a didjeridou (sp?) I actually like. ED: didgeridoo
Like this sort of stuff. Incidentally, why upon seeing a didgeridoo being played do I automatically consider the lungs needed for hitting on some mammoth bong?
Fantastic album. Worth a buy.
Nice, relaxing stuff.
G'day mate. This song here makes me wanna go on my first walkabout... just need to find a big huntin' knife...
This reminds me a lot of The Beatles' "The Inner Light," especially the guitar work. Take out the Middle East groove, insert an Aussie/Outback groove, and voila, this song results.
Some didj stuff sounds cliche, but this is fairly distinct & actually not too hokey. Pretty acoustic work on it.
Does anyone else think this sounds like Hot Tuna does Austrailia?
The didg player is awesome.
:nodhead: :sunny.gif:
I like this!
so this is what chillin' happy sounds like..

Cheerful. I noticed my body swayed on the rythm. Nice.

Good catch! Anyway....sometimes the fusion works, sometimes it doesn't. For me, at least, this tune is.......catchy!

:highfive: We so often disagree, it's so nice not to for a change. One of the best acoustic ensemble pieces I've heard featuring didj. AMG calls it "tribal new acoustic". Reminds me of vintage "Oregon", but with the didj, rather than the sitar and tabla of the late Colin Walcott.
Excellent!!!!!!
Nice!
I've loved this CD for many years. What a great combination - Guitar and Didgeridoo.
Wow ... nice find!
