She got high on lovin'
Sorry but I'm passing through
Maybe I got a toothpick
In the bottom of my walkin' shoes
This ain't a town for tear drops
Or tattoo regrets
Nah, yeah

Sneakin' out the back way
In the middle of a starry night
Ain't gonna be remembered
For all the things that I did right
Can't say I need you, can't say I don't
But I won't

And no need to miss me when I'm gone
And no need to miss me when I'm gone
And no need to miss me when I'm gone
And no need to miss me when I'm gone
I wouldn't have very long

I surely dislike (12-bar) blues.
But I like this song a lot.
I get the distinct impression that the musical arc of RP is bending towards the blues...and there is no justice in that for this listener...
we are on a roll today!!!

How the hell did romeotuma bubble up to the top of the liked comments?  I haven't seen that name in years! I though that particular holy ghost had danced with one too many bow-legged gypsy voodoo mamas and ended up exorcised for good and all.  Apparently, the smell of that particular hotel room lingers.
Well, this is fun!
The times they are a'changin'!
Is this really happening?

gets lots of airtime on sirius-xm... rock... channel 29.... gmule's primarily a jam band and that station lets all the long stuff play/ lots of widespread panic, umphreys mcgee, moe, phish disco biscuits and the like...reminds me of our campus radio station

Love this band. Hate this kind of blues: men writing songs for other men about why women don't like them. Duh.

Gordon Lightfoot?
Air-bassing in the cubicle.
This guy rocks.
My favorite CD this year!

No, he's trying to start his lawnmower, but having a rough go at it.

Now you ruined the song for me - I keep focusing on that sound. Kind of like a deck of cards being thumbed. What is it?

Sounds like a hungry stomach

Just bought this cd last week. Love it. I am going to see these guys in summer. Cant wait for that!
Good song.  Either broadcast or recorded a bit hot.

That's how I see it:

England has the better music
USA the better musicians!

If that is a statement!

PS
Like lots and lots of US bands!
What about "Toad", what about Mellencamp,
two bands we never hear on RP?

Derek Trucks Band can do no wrong. this is excellent stuff. everything i've heard from the album could give ol' Clapton an idea or two.

as far as Europeon music vs the US... really? the most prominent music i've heard in Europe or from Europe (GB included) is that synth-pop-techno garbage that's created by computer programmers, not musicians.

Flatulence.
It's great to see Derek Trucks in concert. Always a huge crowd of all ages and colors having a great time. Nothing like electric blues and barbeque to bridge differences and bring people together.

Awwwww yahhh...

Who needs another boring Hippy-sound of the 60's...?
Only USA can breed this!

Lemmy from Motorhead sings prettier than old sandpaper here

Following up with Cat Stevens just rubs it in!

WTF is that thing making a scraping noise in the left channel once per bar? Sure does spoil an otherwise nice number.

Nothing wrong with being over 50.

Most of the worlds great rockers are. Well over.  {#Bananajam}

wow romeotuma, you clearly really like this song.... A LOT.
This song rips...  I love the turn...
Why did I think this was going to be Zappa, from the opening notes?
Many thanks for the history lesson.

most excellent.  I had not heard this.  Didn't know Derek Trucks from Shinola until I heard him on RP

Got to see Susan this past weekend and Derek made a surprise appearance.  It was awesome.  She said it was the first Saturday night they'd had together in ages.

There are better tracks on this CD, as heard on RP. I don't think this one makes the grade.
All the songs on this album are sa-weet! My new favorite! {#Clap}
Why do I instantly hate it when it sounds countryish?  OK, hate is a strong word....I'll give it a 6.
a nice one {#Dancingbanana}
