ScottFromWyoming wrote:It's impossible to summarize this story well, but if I said it's about a North Cackalacky woman who moved to Wyoming and was crowned Miss Wyoming (World) then kidnapped a Mormon missionary in London, skipped bail, changed her name, and was last seen in Korea picking up the product of the world's first commercial dog cloning, a clone of her pit bull, Booger, well would that be enough? This part is too rich to let go by: McKinney tracked him down to Surrey, England. With the help of an accomplice, she held him up with a toy pistol, used chloroform on him and drove him 200 miles to a honeymoon cottage in southeast England, chained him to a bed using mink-lined handcuffs, and for two days read him the Bible while trying to persuade him to marry her. That didn't work, so she and her accomplice tied him spread-eagled on the bed and she assaulted him three times.
So it's either the Bible, or I screw your brains out.

"It's a miracle!" McKinney repeatedly shouted when she saw the cloned Boogers. That may be my favorite line ever.

That's always the frustrating part, but now that you've got a "test run" interview under your belt, you'll get in the groove and will have a line of employers wanting your exceptional talents!

Oh, that's a possibility, as is Alaska.. I'm just speaking from a statistical standpoint... 80% of my options are in WY and MT. Who knows where the wheel will land?....
I like those odds! And tell Appy I made some apricot jam a couple of weeks ago, flavored with some apricot brandy, using apricots from the Grand Junction, CO, area. They were very yummy, as were the cherries. Best I've ever had. In fact, the cherries didn't last long enough for jam, but some of them ended up in a frozen custard Kevin made.

Yeah, Taos area is pretty damn cool and has a special place in our hearts as we both worked at Philmont (in Cimarron) at one time. Northern NM is colder than southeast Alaska in the winter, though, by many degrees— it averages around the 30's in the winter in SE Alaska, and around 10 in Taos. Though you're right about the dark part.
But it is a DRY cold. Better dry snow and 10 than soaking rain in the 30's. And does AK have pinyons? Low riders? Luminarias? Kit Carson's house (or is that Santa Fe?)? Nooooo.
