I saw the Waterboys last Septemeber for the first and they played several songs from this effort. One of the best things about Mike Scott is that he does whatever he wants without a care about marketability or label demands. A true artist. The songs I heard didn't really strke a cord with me but I'm glad to hear one here.
Each time I hear that opening vocal (before Mike starts singing), I think it's Perry Farrell. BTW I quite like this song.

I did a double take when I saw the name of the artist. I really didn't like their big hit, from back in the day, but this is rather good.
