Morcheeba world wide yeah

So pray to God I last
Last year I took a chance
Chances have me scarred
Scarred but it made me hard

Hardest to ever grasp
Grasp but I never grass
Grass on the other side's greener
But I'm loving ours

Pray to God a little more
Knees sunk a little deeper
In the corner on the floor
Tryna pray away the reaper
If it's that I gotta go to war
I ain't scared of dying neither
Being a lion and a leader
Pain bleeding through
The speaker like

Show our peace signs
Behind these fire lines
You wanna a piece of peace
You can't get a piece of me
Throw your piece down
This night it's time
You wanna a piece of peace
You can't get a piece of me

Straight faced no that ain't no crime yeah
Got my cub and I keep a lioness
Playing games but you better
Mind your step
I ain't waiting for you
Go on I ain't pressed

Getting stretched no brother
I ain't stressed
Be my guest 'cause brother
I am blessed
Straight faced no that ain't no crime yet
So direct we ain't got the time yet

Show our peace signs
Behind these fire lines
You wanna a piece of peace
You can't get a piece of me
Throw your piece down
This night it's time
You wanna a piece of peace
You can't get a piece of me

Show our peace signs
Behind these fire lines
You wanna a piece of peace
You can't get a piece of me
Throw your piece down
This night it's time

Never fold hold my own but never
Always shown always shown I never
Always shown and always known I never
Never never never

I am no expert in rap, and I don't like a lot of it (90% of everything is crap), but one, I love that RP is adding more new and a variety of music, and two, categorically hating on an entire genre of music merely demonstrates that you don't know anything about what you're complaining about. Do you discount drummers for not providing you a melody? Do you need every song to be written with you as the target audience?

For a small example, here's someone explaining the linguistic complexity of Eminem's lyrics https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ooOL4T-BAg0
Ship it.  (that means I like it)
