Agreed. Off to listen to Donovan?
She screeches and the musicianship sounds like a jam session- noodling around. After 4 minutes of aural torture, I had to mute it.
Love this. Not the most pleasing vocals perhaps, but musically this is still a great take on a classic.
I love how these 60s and 70s music experimented with stereo separation. Drums on the left, electronic organ on the right. New recordings are too balanced IMHO. Great song too.
Well, ya know, it's okay I suppose. Sorta. Maybe not. Maybe if it was Donovan on vocals it'd be a refresh of the original but...ah nevermind.
Sure I like Donovan's version better but I like this one too.
It's such a great song.
Well, they found the groove on this one
Seems to go on forever.  Much prefer Donovan’s version.

Better than Donovan's. I like her voice and the instrumental sounds like the Doors.
That’s what I’m saying! 🤪

if the Doors covered this Donovan classic, but after Jim passed away… with a new female singer…  and Janice J. produced it… then perhaps you’d
have this lo-fi, chill vibe version.
it’s awesome!
Great vocal on this - I like
Wheels of fire is a must to hear!

First time I've heard a cover of the Donovan original. Pretty good in my opinion.

How many seasons does this witch have?
Here's a cumulative banana for all of them.
Ouch... that was painful to hear it.

Gonna have to disagree with you there -- I especially liked that instrumental section in the middle.

Exactly, when she shut up.

This deserves to be played more often.  OK, maybe not too often, but still.
