i love this. The slow progression, the climbing energy, the quiet resolution.
It sounds a lot like Bad Plus to me. The spare piano trio with very active drums and bass.
For me, Jon Scott's rhythm makes this whole piece. Reminds me some of Sungazer's Shawn Crowder.
