Funny I have never heard this on here before!! Very cool😊
That moment when your brain goes, "Heeeeeyyyyy wait a minnit!"

I agreed with you, gave it a rest for a year or three, thought maybe it would be cool to give it another shot.

I was wrong. No value here. Apologies all around -- to those whose ears were as offended as mine, as well as to those who are disappointed that they'll never hear it again.

Probably... lol

William, it only took you a month to change your mind?  You should have stuck with your first instinct and not ever played this ever again.
Ah so this is where AVGN got the song from, what an unlocked memory

NO MORE FOREIGNER - EVER AGAIN - THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE
Again bubblegum song overplayed, however I kinda dig this version...
Some songs need to be plugged. Electricity please.
Yikes...still don't want to hear this anymore...
Still don't like this voice. Sorry not sorry.
Kelly Hansen fits perfectly. Lou Gramm's the classic of course.
I was going to like this, but it turned out to be more than 90 seconds long.
far better than the original.
Surprisingly nice.
I actually like it. They stick very close to the original here, which is kind of a surprise, but I think it works. I'm not a big Foreigner fan, just meh. But this is interesting.
c.
great version

Because it's so pretty?
An impressive upgrade of the song, especially vocals.
why?
My doctor says I need a stronger prescription.
This is... unexpected. Never a huge Foreigner fan beyond Urgent (although it was Thomas Dolby's keyboard programming that brought that to life) despite them being radio staples in my high school and college years. But this was actually quite listenable.
this has not passed the test of time...
My first 1. Okay it's my eighth, but it feels like the first time.

Voice still holds up and was that a Mandolin I heard?  Based on that I'll take it, what the heck.

Well it's definitely not their original singer (Lou Gramm), but it's a decent performance.
Double cheese.

Agreed!  I liked it enough to rate it an 8, though it might be an 8.5 compared to the studio version which is an 8 to me....Long Live RP!!

Well, that went better than I would have expected.
I still wouldn't sign up for it, but I'd take it over the Nirvana unplugged stuff any day.
This is...fantastic.
That was a good idea... never.
Walter Sobchak with gun: "Mark it ZERO"

Walter never was a fan of acoustic Foreigner...
Wow! Never should have thought! Foreigner on RP! My old favorites... Urgent Urgent, emergency!
Yes! Bill and Rebecca, you always keep us on our toes. Keep up the great work.
Kinda fraught.
Electric or acoustic, it's still one of those awful "classic rock" songs of the 70s/80s. Please, no more!

This is a great song, acousitic or otherwise.

Hey, that's a quality lyric!

"Hot Blooded" has some of the most profound lyrics in he history of humanity. {#Propeller}
Not bad, but it seems a little silly. I don't really see the point. 5

I hear a metronome
Nice, but it still has a hard time topping how the original felt, blaring out of Dad's Marantz or the old AudioVox 8-track in my '70 Cutlass!
Um, that's not how I remember it ...
{#Dancingbanana_2}
deserves a rockin' banana
This acoustic version is smooth.  It allows for the vocals to be much better heard without full instrumentation obscuring the nuances embodied in their voices.  A solid 8.

Foreigner...Really?

Yeah ... gotta think it's some subtle Bill playlist linkage or current affairs thing.  Theories welcomed.

It's a much better song with the stripped-down acoustic arrangement.
Foreigner...Really?
