Mohandas was busy that day (lunch with Cate Blanchett), and Einstein was making a pest of himself in the studio, playing around with Bono's sunglasses.  So they consented to put his picture on the cover just to mollify him.

Of course, that explains things. Einstein, what a prima donna know it all... {#Whipit}

Why did they add Einstein on the cover and at the beginning of the song? Why not Gandhi?

Negative Ghostrider.   Love the original, it represents U2 at its pretentious, creative best.  But that queasiness in my stomach reminds me of the first time I heard Vanilla Ice and Ice Ice Baby...PSD.

Exactly what I was thinking. The original is perfectly understated (something that's hard to believe, considering it's U2).
Reminiscent of One Giant Leap...

Rots.

The original is beautiful and perfect.
It may need more listenings to bet a better assessment...
Sounds pretty good — very atmospheric; incredible voice that could only be him or Finn Andrews, I figured. It's Bono&Co! Thanks, RP!
