It's "Y: The Last Man" !!!!
I don't think I ever realized what these lyrics really say! The H bomb goes off, and it kills all the rest of the men, and he is saved, so now he is the only man and has all the women that survived, to himself. Although, it turns out to be just a dream in the end. Still, makes you realize it is a product of it's time, very definitively.
Great song, kind of ahead of its time. Bill had a great band, I don't think enough people appreciate how he took different styles and put them together to help make rock become what we know it to be today.
The best thing about this song is it's short :^ /

Eric was something like 10 years old when Bill Haley had his big hit.
Somewhat of a pity that Eric never adopted the Haley kiss-curl, perhaps he would have made it big.
Claptons vocal style is awfully like that of Bill Haley. Hmm, who was recording first?

This song really belongs on the Fallout soundtrack.
Bill ... Trim it down to a manageable number. Be a sport call the band over.

Just your back?

Sweet!
Where is this town?
Never heard this one before. Probably cause of the B-side song of the 45rpm.

He was my first memory of rock and roll; I was at a drive-in in Plainview, Tx having a root beer float in a frosted mug.

Thirteen women and only one man? Sounds like romeotuma's hotel room

for sure. "Rock Around the Clock" kind of desensitized us to the coolness after 86 billion plays. Sometimes VITAL and ROCK N' ROLL GOOD that we be reminded, plugged into just how hot n' hoppin' this cool cat was way back when
thanks Bill !
released the year I was born, but I had never heard that song. And that was supposed to be the A side?!
this is why I love RP !

This sounds like a half dozen or more other acts. In some or most cases, Bill was there first. Johnny Rivers. Elvis. Stray Cats. And on and on.
