Wow, these lyrics sound painfully tragic. And I still love this man's voice.

Saw this act live, warming up for REM. Just as amateurish and boring only more so. Great opportunity to get up and go grab a pretzel.

Both bands that started off very promising. Not much left to love today. Well that's my opinion.
An exceptional band - why can't there be more like The National and The Shins?

My thoughts too!
The sound: meh. The lyrics: nice, depressing, poetic. The album cover: WHOA! So simple, so intriguing, so creepy!

Well, decent bottom end on this one though.
So dull, so lifeless, so incoherent, so The National

A lot of The National songs belong on RP. This song is no exception.

I like this and I disagree with that guy down there. Sort of like people who are bored are boring ya know?
Really, really liking the new one from The National. It's had a permanent spot in my car's CD player for months. This is one of my favorites from the record. Thanks to RP, I've grown to love The National.
This is the last time... Please, Bill!

Annnnd ......here we go!
I quite like it... his voice reminds me a bit of the voice of Tim Kasher from Cursive.
