Best part of this song is the contribution of the Red-tailed hawk.

Love this song. Evokes the joy and pain of the Cherokee Nation, Chan Marshall, the rest of us, and, yes, "hawkdom".

Such a good album ... but isn't that the SAME hawk sound used EVERYWHERE, in every movie, in every commercial? Well, I suppose they all sound the same, alas. Not the hawk's fault.

You've got some pretty mixed-up feelings there, Ziggy ;-)

I can understand what you mean, though. I feel the same way about some Radiohead songs which have grown on me like rampant fungus. I've come to like them in a way that I loathe. I don't think I can explain it in words...{#Stupid}
