It's codpiece o'clock!
Ah yes, wearing the jockstrap on the outside of the pants. Crazy that such a chic fashion statement never caught on! ; )
Knockout..!!

Me on Rollerskates and this song pup up

Is this the first known usage in a song of "wave your hands in the air like you don't care?"
Oh, yeaaaah, baby!!
If you aren't chairdancing right now, you're not invited to my party!

choon
An unexpected but quite fun song to hear on RP. I love the little surprises like this song
So awesome to hear this pop up on RP! This song permanently changed the way I pronounce the word "weird". Sang this a lot in the car back in the day so I know all the lyrics, too!

Facts.
Facts.
This song is legendary. Learn how to move!
ummmmm…. Wtf?
If ya want to push it..play some of that crazy Parliament-Funkadelic stuff. Weird stuff but with a crazy back beat.
…whhhhaaaaaat? — the ephemeral Imogene heap cameo to CAMEO??
o man, u just gotta love that RP gray matter.

Instead of asking "why"...ask "why not"?
Nice one Bill. For a change, give us the Gun cover.
I’m waving my hands in the air like I don’t care but I just get odd looks from people. Guess they just don’t get Cameo 😬
Simply the greatest 'pop' song in the history of the world.
Not one aspect of the album cover’s aesthetic has aged well. My advice to all current young prefrontal cortex deprived hipsters, 80s style is not one to emulate, even ironically.
The Groove, on the other hand, marches on triumphantly - no matter the mask 🎭 convention asks it wear….!

Oh wow, Bill. First time I've heard this on RP. This was such a great song in it's day. Thanks for adding it into the rotation!

Nice
Amazing to hear this song on RP! What a treat, thanks 😊
Yes! Ooooowh
thats all you suckah DJs told.
I did a double-take when this song started, could not wrap my head around the fact that this would be playing on RP. And this is exactly the reason why it SHOULD be played on RP, thank you Bill!
Somewhere there’s a dancing banana 🍌 missing its groove?!
Word up, FTW!! Thanks, William. ;-)
Great song. Word Up!
love it!
In 86 my head would have exploded. Today it bobbed. Go figure.
What?!? this has been on here for ten years and I never heard it?
Great to hear it! Takes me back....

Wow! I never thought I would here this on RP! That is why RP is the best. Great song!

Hahaha, If I'm correct, the quote is from the same year the song came out...They had a thing, he had a haircut.
Elvis , Ramones , The Who , Phish then this Bwahhahaha. Why I am addicted to RP
Such a funny choice and great to hear this classic on here. Keep the surprises coming, Bill!
Love when Bill mixes in stuff like this ... in context it is perfect.
The red jock apparatus a lil before its time.
Haha! This is an awesome tune! Thanks for blowing the dust off this one Bill
Ah memories....
This is cracking me up to hear this here. I felt myself jamming to it and then startled, wait, what station am I listening to? HAHAHAHAHA! A nice surprise. But let's not go too far in this direction ;-)
Heh. Last played 9 years ago? Bill's just having some fun :o)
This was an unpredictable choice. Glad that RP can be this daring. Not my choice to listen to...but nonetheless...the variety beats out safe and typical.
Takes me back to riding one of those spinning death traps at the county fair in high school. The ride then and the song now made me throw up in my mouth a little bit.
Ha. Love it. Perfect nonsense, hence my 10 rating. Surprised to hear it here, though, but I'm mightily pleased.
All over the shop, isn't it?

More codpieces!!
Have I ever mentioned that I love Radio Paradise... This song, not so much, but to be able to hear it with all the other great music (once in a great while). Awesome.
Will it be "Hammer time" soon? Loving the flashback!
Look at me, everyone. I'm so eclectic. No, really. Look at me. Look what I can do.
Barf.
Barf.
ha ha haaaa haaaaaaa!
What the...
Now that's eclectic ;-)
OK, I see- so, lawsuit is in order?
