smooth and moving
on the prowl through the crowd
to the beat of the city
she glows in the dark
wherever she parks
concrete crumbles and the night rumbles
Big electric cat
She dances through the street
like the flame of a fire
everybody's hypnotized
everybody perspires
even little children cry
grown men shout
the dogs bark
the lights go out
Big electric cat
There are only TWO TUNES by him on the RP playlist. PLEASE ADD MORE! Thank You.
And...more Zappa, please
it may have been another “Simian the whale” scenario.
This is super cool, never heard if this guy before. Thanks RP.
Zappa
This one screams on a nice stereo set up.
Listening to Lone Rhino again after many years - Bill needs The Momur on the playlist
Absolutely, was thinking the same thing.
I may be the only one to deliver a ten. Geez, this is so awesome!
Worth a 9 from me!

not everyone's cup of tea, but I have long admired AB. Talking Heads, Bowie, King Crimson.... innovative and talented musician. Especially like his tune "The Mormur" off this album. Later tunes such as "Fly" and "Eyes Wide Open" are also stand-outs to me too

Nope, me too -- go Adrian! Unique talent, doesn't care about being popular with the popular crowd -- pure artist, versatile and ingenious, works with numerous stellar music beings -- RP should play Sexy Rhino next -- that will get everybody!
Boy Back in the day when they played this video with computer animation on Friday Night Videos - this blew my mind straight off!!!
I first saw this video when I was at SIGgraphic in Detroit. It would have been in the early 80's. I still find it interesting.
1982!
Adrian Belew is weird. We need more weird. Rock on weirdo!
I AGREE! I worked with several Cincinnati bands that he produced, including "The Raisins". Unfortunately, I never got to meet him.

Clearly you are not a proctologist.
I love Adrian Belew and have seen in concert in various forms over thirty times!

He does have better songs, keep them coming
. If curious, check out the King Crimson catalog. Discipline is a good place to start. He's amazing, and I was fortunate to see him in concert at a lovely small venue (Mountain Winery, Saratoga, CA). Check him out if you get a chance!
i think its more like...

That's exactly what I have just done. I too am not looking forward to hearing it again. In fact today's sequence is just not helping. Radio off.
And color me impressed. Very innovative and different. Just how I like my music.
Yea, but this will wake you up in the morning!
You are not alone, denbear.
Shan't be disappointed if I never hear it again.
Wildcat + Big Electric Cat = AWESOME!
It's an excellent CD, I highly recommend it. Especially since Lone Rhino was out of print for so long.
ScottFromWyoming and I agree on something! /faints
Never expected to hear it on RP!
The Ratatat album that came before was a 6, this is a 2.
David Byrne without the David Byrne is fine by me - this rates a good 6 points higher with the Nottingham jury than any DB/Talking Heads stuff.
not anymore!

Awesome song by an awesome artist
That 2-in-1 CD might need to be gotten soon.
