I think so, too.
That's so funny, I was about to post "Does anyone else think she sounds like Susanna Hoffs?"
Obviously, someone else does.

By the same logic, this track has faux leather bound copies of Ulysses, 'antique' farm implements and Guinness mirrors everywhere you look.
But no craic.
Quite agree. It is interesting to compare with the comments some RPers have made about the Corrs just before this was played. At least the Corrs actually come from 'Oirland'
Like this too. Not sure about the rest of the album, but her Strawberry Lover is a great one.

The Bangles reincarnate.
The unplugged, acoustic, roots-rock version of the Bangles, perhaps. . . . Not that there's anything wrong with that. . . . Or with the Bangles in general. . . . Which is a long way 'round to say that I like this piece.

Haunting, evocative, beautiful. It did make me think of the gray-stone beaches of Galway Bay and the rolling blue-grass hillsides of Kildare and Carlow, all with the sky seeming so very close overhead. Now I miss it so much that I need to work on a plan to return sooner than I thought. Thanks to this song.
Think I can help here)))) I live in Kildare and right now the weather really sucks!!! The blue-grass is covered in sheep sh1t))) Galway though- thats another story... sigh
Nice song too
Wow I thought that was the Bangles -- I miss them - very nice!

such a sweet voice
Pretty song, but when the volume is not high enough (as it has to be at work) she sounds exactly like Stevie Nicks, which is a little disconcerting.
I love this song, plain and simple. :)
so glad to see you playing Jess, how bout some voices on the verge too
Very tasteful.
