Yes, at first I hear the similarity (more like rip-off) of RL Burnside in this — but I am also hearing Right Said Fred!! hahaha too weird of a mash-up for me....
Never heard this before. Really beautiful and haunting!! Love it!!!

I've heard this a dozen times, and I always thought it was one of those remixed R. L. Burnside tracks...
I think this is just a smidge more likable though (7).

Clicking the link for Artist Website brings one to a site that has nothing at all to do with the artists of this music!

Nice!
Outstanding! Is this acid country? Whatever it is, it is certainly rather good. More of this kind of thing please.
This is awesomely poppy and shows some great energy - my only issue is that... how much of this is simply sampled and mixed? The harmonica run is brilliant -but repetitive. Is it just sampling someone elses work? If so, whose? I'd much rather listen to the original artist if this isn't it :)

Uh, let me think... Well it's a wild guess but maybe because not everybody here is from an English-speaking country?
It's one thing to expect that people can read/write/speak English, but it's another to expect people to fully understand the language and all its grammar stuff...
As you probably know by now, i'm not from an English-speaking country myself, i'm Dutch. Now you try to translate "Better than Indigo Girls" to Dutch and let's see how you do...
This answer is absolutely perfect! So many stateside folk are self-centered to the extent that the notion of English being a second (or third, or fourth) language for millions doesn't occur to them.

'better "THAN" Indigo Girls' is the correct grammar. Why do people have trouble with homonyms and 'then - than' usage?

Me dig. . Would love to hear Beck rap over this.
Joshua Barnes Howell, known as Peg Leg Howell (March 5, 1888 - August 11, 1966<1>), was an African American blues singer and guitarist, who connected early country blues and the later 12-bar style.<2> He had the strong delivery and ear-catching repertoire of the professional street-singer.<3> Wikipedia

Brillliant! Radio paradise is the best. Reminds us of Radio Free Europe. Oops dating ourselves. Keep up the good work and the great music.

Might be time for new friends. :)
"Be friendly to your enemy."
Bumping this up to a seven just because of the classy shout-outs to my blues heroes.
Nice cover... crappy noise

I bet there are a lot of you out there that want to outright hate this song but can't admit to liking parts of it. Reminds me of Yellow...
Nice mix of the traditonal Dobro sound with a hip new beat. Very enjoyable, nice groove.

Ever hear of a group called Big Pig? Put out one CD called "Bonk" Good stuff, and just like this song.
Makes me want to go and buy a new George Foreman Grill....
I've got this album but with the artist name "Sacred Spirit". The must be using different artist names in Europe and in the StatesÂ…

Yes, my feelings excactly. RP, what an excellent eclectic radio station.

I keep thinking of the backing music to the dance scene in "The Matrix Reloaded" Good schtuff.
The background sounds a lot like Babble's "Tribe". That's a good thing. Likeable tune.

For sure. And I find these forums SO educational too. Nice to have a whole group of people sharing their knowledge about a song/group/whatever. Love it.

Ooh ohhh one of my favs!
Got turned on to "dige" by the guy who played it for the Myst soundtrack, and some Toyota ads. I try, but I can only make it sound like a deathly-sick dog. He can make it sound like coyotes howling, elephants, lions, just an amazing sound. Very cool instrument.
Sounds enough like the theme from \"Old Grey Whistle Test\' to drag me in from the other room. Nice. :)
nay sayers .. funny how the song still has, what, a 6.8 with only 21 people rating it.. :)
still love the tune... would like to hear more from this group..

:D
Dang! Not again! Quoting Butt-head: this sucks more than anything that has ever sucked before!
Being in a kind of cynical mood I comment; a legendary mistake.

Ya... me like.. faster paced.. knee slappin or toe tappin... a bit of an eye opener/wakeup type tune..
nice harmonica & guitar work... slightly more complex then the regular dance & trance type sound out there...
:D
hmmm...interesting. :D
I\'m not sure if I would like this song on a regular day, but it fits in quite well after a margarita lunch. :p
