RIP Joe

Excellent musicianship, but it sounds like elevator music.

A bit of an oxymoron there, whomever posted this, since excellent musicianship and elevator music sort of don't go together.

Anyway, I'll ride that elevator if that guitar is along for the ride.

Yeah, some other guy, Buddy-something, was from Lubbock. One of his bandmates was from Littlefield, only 15 min away. That guy had a pretty decent career too.

Not to mention C.B.'Stubbs' Stubblefield, bbq master extraordinaire...

Must be something in the water. That, or there is nothing else to do in Lubbock...

ANOTHER first here at R.P.  I love that guitar run. I've heard a lot like it, but this one seems to cook at slightly higher temperature.

Lot of good righteous anger in this song. Very passionate. Thanks Joe.
I loved the mix with Flamenco Surf
Can you play Ely\'s Musta Notta Gotta Lotta? Can\'t rememer if it\'s on this CD or one of his other greats.
Excellent guitar in there.
Bill: another stellar choice. This is a guy who\'s been making quality music for 30 years. Thanks for the thrill.
I like the haunting, open prairie tableau this song paints.
Occasionally Lubbock gets it right.
First class song, dito artist.
