such an underrated and great album......am I the only one that feels like singing the lyrics to "Shooting Star" by Bad Company when I listen to this song?

Huge Stills fan. This is one of my favs from when he lived near Gold Hills in Boulder County Colorado, about an hour from where I now live.
A great guy who has made it back to shore more than a few times.

This may be the best Steve Stills album . His band is talented and tight, and recording in Miami (Criteria Studios) must have been the bomb in 1971. The band was staying nearby, and was summoned whenever the mood struck, getting the ideas on tape before the magic faded.
There are several really nice cuts on this double-disc album. If I remember it accurately, the album notes and photos were pretty cool, too.

Totally agree with you Kurt. This album actually helped me get the girl way back in my HS dazes. If Stills could have kept making albums as good as this one perhaps Neil Young would have had some keen competition as time marched on...
what a great song that i\'m sure many have never heard. this is a great album,(actually two), that is truly underrated.
