Public Service Announcement: Please pay for RP. Send them $5 a month or MORE. I give and we should all do so. Nothing stays free. Support Radio Paradise. (I'm not paid to say this, just a fan, who pays for you to enjoy).
Totally agree. RP has been part of my life for over 20 years and I have supported it for many years. Long live RP!
Saw him last weekend. Absolutely wonderful show. Heβs a great musician and entertainer. Looking forward to seeing him again.
He's very talented. But he also bores me too deeply to listen. Next! My $.02
Understand - I feel the same way about much of Norah Jones' work.
Chris works for me, tho
Au contraire, ladies......
π
Saw him in Boise back in 2002, and he was a goofball between almost every song.
Not a man who takes himself, or perhaps anything else too seriously.
All the more reason I dig the guy.
He invited me to join him on stage and dance! Of course, I did! Raleigh, NC, 1986. SEXY man!π
I used to make a contribution every few months or so, but RP has become political with the launch of Radio 2050. I don't want to contribute money to a site that is not balanced in its political presentations.
Bye

I send a hundred bucks , hopefully every year. The pleasure is worth more. Even my wife likes it and is changing her ways! haha (in case she sees this)
The sort of shit yer mum likes.
7.2 over 1300 peeps rating, I really don't think they are all "mums" your in the minority! move on !
Either that's a really small sofa or he's really tall.
Looks like his pants shrunk in the wash as well...
NICE!!

What, I wonder, would Chris Isaak sing about if he weren't so consumed by lover's angst? So often with songwriters, mental anguish is the mother to songwriting creativity, and that appears to be the case in Spades with yer man. For a good-looking and, presumably, rich guy, he's in a lot of mental torment. Great songs and singing, mind - his pain is our gain :)
Frederick, As usual, you have nailed it, in a non-confrontational way. Good man.
Au contraire, ladies......
saw once myself, very good show !

Yes, he was... and this month at HSB too. Always great to see him live.
What?... It was the white socks, wasn't it.
I'd be OK with never hearing anything by him ever again, though.
Always love this one. Glad to hear it here.
ya got me dancin. Thank You. ;) 123KWhat, I wonder, would Chris Isaak sing about if he weren't so consumed by lover's angst? yes agree - tho i no longer have the other version i can remember his singing is much more expressive
Great song anyway!

He was (they were) outstanding at Veterans Memorial in (the aptly-named) Grass Valley on 4/26.
What..you crazy..white socks are for tennis !

The song..just a #5.
Yes, I hear it too. It's a similar guitar sound. I think "Lily was Here" is from Candy Dulfer's album "Saxuality". Dave Stewart on guitar and Candy Dulfer on sax.

if i'm ever stranded on an island, i hope it's with you
Love this guy!
Oh, I already said this...sorry!
