Well, it seems so real, I can see it
And it seems so real, I can taste it
And it seems so real, I can feel it
And it seems so real, I can hear it
So why can't I touch it?
So why can't I touch it?
Well, it looks so real, I can see it
And it tastes so real, I can taste it
And it feels so real, I can feel it
And it sounds so real, I can hear it
So why can't I touch it?
So why can't I touch it?

Now it is so real, I can see it
And it is so real, I can taste it
And it is so real, I can hear it
And it is so real, I can be it
So why can't I touch it?
So why can't I touch it?

Enough already.
This album was the first "punk" thing I ever heard. I was in Grade 11 I think, and  a guy called Wayne who was a year older and into the Clash and similar bands lent me this cassette. I played it to death in my car, to the consternation of some of my friends who were still very much into classic 70s rock (this was small-town Alberta, Canada around 1980).
Great to hear this on RP!

Huh. Can’t say I ever expected to hear the Buzzcocks on RP.  I’d be up for some more of that and maybe some Magazine, too.
