Have been reading others' comments below - regarding no rhythm, no melody, etc. Personally, I love this, and find much to admire. 
I respect those of you who temper your negative comments, but those of you who send out judgmental comments without allowing that other people may have valid reasons for liking the music are (in my opinion) showing themselves to be childish and prejudiced.

Eh? No Rhythm? I simply don't understand. Maybe it is because there are too many rhythms in it that you can't hear them? 

For me, this is fantastically danceable, which is the best indication of whether something has rhythm.

This song may not have the sort of melody which could send one away "humming or otherwise duplicating it"; but it undeniably has a rhythm.

I do not dislike it but would have a hard time convincing myself that it it actually "music" per se. If I cannot go away at least humming or otherwise duplicating it in some way in my own head I attribute it more to sounds than music but that it simply my own interpretation and does not even include the missing ingredient ot rhythm.

Yep. Addictive and captivating, and very RP. I like the gonging things too, which I think are hammered dulcimers (which is also reminiscent of Dead Can Dance, as another poster wrote). 8 from the weirded-out Nottingham jury.

Interesting comparison!  Dead Can Dance has a new album out — called Anastasis  (Anastasis is the Greek word for resurrection) — and it has an incredible song on it called "Return of the She-King"...
