I think I'll go down to the river
I think I'll dangle all my hooks
I think I like the way she's hungry
I think I like the way she looks

Nothing seems to last
I'm painting on the past
Nothing seems to last
I'm painting on the past
You're just like all the rest
Girl you ain't the first and you certainly ain't the last!

I think I'll roll down to the city
I think I'll wear my leather boots
I think I like the way she's tying
I really love the way she looks

Nothing seems to last
I'm painting on the past
Nothing seems to last
I'm painting on the past
You're just like all the rest
Girl you ain't the first and you certainly ain't the last!

Nothing seems to last...
Prayers for Israel and all innocent people during this horrific time.
'Nothing seems to last'
Well... that might have to do with 'you ain't the first and you certainly ain't the last'
Nice song though

This song always made me think Victoria Williams by way of PJ Harvey...

This guy's voice reminds me of my own - terrible.  Great musicianship though.
Bill has been on an awesome LONG run the past couple of hours with no totally obnoxious "out there" tunes - NICE!
For me, this has become a sort of trademark song for Radio Paradise. Thanks Bill & Rebecca!
We Israelis don't have a lot to be proud of these days. Waze, cherry tomatoes and Asaf Avidan.

Love this song - though wasn't too keen on the rest of the album so haven't shelled out...
This guy makes Bob Dylan sound like Johnny Mathis.
I really don't like her voice.  3

His new album is fine.
absolutely love love Love this guy!
A great song I heatd first here at RP!!
like the music, arrangement, & the voice quite a bit, but not the lyrics…need to hear more.
Someone said this is the best - not much of a rec.
One of the very rare tracks on RP that I don't like it at all...

He? It's a guy? Don't like at all, but I can see why people might.
I think my earlier days of listening to Bob Dylan has influenced my appreciation for Asaf Avidan's voice .... might explain the likes and dislikes.  Oh, by the way ... This is one of his better songs ... from my perspective.
he's got so many beautiful songs so why is it the only one we can hear in RP??  {#Eek}{#Angel}

Everybody in my mushrooming multitude of churches be dancing buck ass naked all over the world like bowlegged gypsy muleskinners...  love this song...  love sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll...
The sort of track one might expect to find on "Prisoner of War"
The Music is really good (7), but the voice is horrible, sucko-barfo! Makes 4 points.
Channeling the Bee Gees?!?

love this vivid song...  time flies when we're having fun...  reminds me of this—

Latest Victoria's Secret model: Bob Dylan
Now here's a song worth 10, such a beautiful voice as well.
Was vaguely interesting the first few times of hearing.  Boring and dreary when heard every day.

really do not understand the hype. the music is okay, but the singer´s voice is simply the most unbearable thing i have heard for a really long time!
it´s not even "interesting" in a strange way, so one could say "i like it" or "i don´t like it although it´s.... uhm... interesting" ...
no, it´s simply horrible :-(

5 X in 30 Days Really?

soooo marvelous...

CPR classes: Use "Stayin' Alive" to keep the punctuated rhythm going.

Really don't like this song, and boy does it get a lot of airplay here.  Not sure why, the vocals drive me crazy.  Sounds just like a whiny woman singing, and I couldn't imagine how this could be a man.   So I had to youtube the song just to see for myself what it looked like being sung by a man.

whoa. i got entirely too excited when i anticipated the Bee Gees a la introduction.
I just blew one of my output tubes and I now have a mismatched pair in the amp...amazingly it sounds BETTER!
Not a song by this artist passes without me looking up from my work and groovin'

Sorry am I the only person hearing Eunice Higgins?

Ha ha! No. I hear it too. Is this a man or woman singing? I can't figure it out from the voice, album cover or singer's name. It's like an  "It's Pat" sketch!
Good stuff.  Wow.
Robin Gibb - RIP.  Stayin' Alive in our hearts.  And apparently in this song as well.

Yes. Thought it was "stayin alive" for a few bars.

Janis Joplin?!  What are you smoking?  Oh, you're being sarcastic, right?  Listen to the vocals on "Disarm" mixed in with this song.  Identical   (btw - my comparison is in no way meant as a compliment.  I cannot stand Billy's voice, grates on me like fingernails on a chalkboard).
Nice guitar!
Hey, check it out!  The "Push th' little daisies" singer got a new band.  I knew he'd make it big some day!

I dig this man!
Unpleasant and the word drawl come to mind all at once, something I would expect to hear during a dark sour movie scene with rain and rusty nails all about.
Scared at the beginning that the Bee Gees were coming.
I like this.

He is pretty close.  I saw him in concert a year or two ago and he has obviously lost his mind.  It was similar to visiting a relative in an old-folks home... a relative that happens to sing.

As for Asaf, I kinda dig it.  I never realize that it is a dude until I read the name, but each time I hear him I check the website to see who it is.  That has to count for something.
Think I'll turn the sound off for a little bit.
Gotta get Santa to bring this to me....

not his best track. However a real great artist. One month ago he was one stage in my city. His voice is incredible.
I like him

you beat me to it !!
it's not stealing if you can get away with it  {#Bananajam}{#Drummer}
I dig the Bee Gees Stayin Alive guitar riff
( guess i'm not the only one )
Definitely a contender for the RP "guy who sounds most like a girl" award (not saying that's a bad thing!). We need more girls who sound like guys to balance things out :p

This guy is intriguing.

Appropriate! Since he's, you know, "painting on the past."

Fish hooks and leather boots?  OMG!  Ewwwwww ...

I keep hearing riffs from the BeeGee's "Dancin' ..." disco tracks.

Bumped it from 7 to 8.  As previously stated there's a lot more to this song than first meets the ears.
this could be a classic western movie theme, like ennio morricone's, 'il buono, il cattivo, ill brutto'. quick!  someone write up a screen play and send it with this music to Clint!!!

I think this is so much better than that other one that I heard by this artist; I am liking this one quite a bit...  Interesting neo-retro feel!
I thought it sounds like Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins) singing
Peeling back the layers to find a better and better song.

I'm steeping in it like the world's nastiest tea bag...
