I had never heard of the movie Big Fish until I heard this song on RP. I immediately watched it, then watched it again. Great movie, great song. Thanks RP!!

Instead of a song comment, a movie comment: Big Fish is one of my all time favorites. A movie that can be watched multiple times and depending on where you're at, it can tear / tear you up.

If their ashes enhance the soil, great. If they don't, it's still good, because Mom and Dad lived in this house for over 40 years, so it's their ground. They should be laid to rest where they were most at home - at home.

According to this obituary Cynaera (Ann) suffered from a subdural hematoma. There's a forum thread dedicated to her.
Even though I didn't know her in person, her comments really seemed to convey her personality. To see them being bumped up makes me think that the internet creates some kind of immortality. I think it's great as long as you're remembered for the right reasons.

So - bro and I decided that once the growing season is over and stuff is due to be cut back, we'll rototill the garden area, plant our parents' ashes (sans containers) in a special place in the garden, and then have a stepping-stone to mark the place. If their ashes enhance the soil, great. If they don't, it's still good, because Mom and Dad lived in this house for over 40 years, so it's their ground. They should be laid to rest where they were most at home - at home.

Like many who have commented, I am not a big Pearl Jam fan, but I really love this song and loved Eddie Vedder's solo work on the movie "Into the Wild".
Of course, this is a Pearl Jam song, with the whole band joining in and playing, in the same style to be found throughout their work. Side by side with their hard and fast rocking are their slow and easy songs, so well chronicled i the "down" side of their greatest hits LP.
Check it out people who like Eddie but not the band.

luv eddie and pj, but the movie was actually a disappointment to me, and I was looking forward to it. Too disjointed and muddled for my taste, and I do like alot of Tim Burton's stuff, but this one was a miss, I'm afraid.

I got my degree in computer operating systems at CSU Chico just down the hill from Paradise. One of America's first great microbreweries, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, started in Paradise. It's a beautiful place with snowy winters and pine trees in the foothills of the mountain range. Paradise is in Butte county, which makes it a spectacular drive up the mountain with all those flat bluffs. (a butte is a flat-topped mountain).
All I know is that when you drive the 5 from LA to San Fran... it's anything but paradise. hehealways enjoy hearing this song.
