So sorry to see this...My mother's was triggered when she broke her hip and they put her under with anesthesia a few years back...Good days and bad days but at 91 I don't know how many days, good or bad, she has left. Safe travels and sending good JuJu to you both, D.

we didn't really have it yet. my mom was sick - apparently after hitting up the doc yesterday it was side effects from the shingles shot she got wednesday. horrible sore throat, no voice, cough, low grade fever, malaise...i'm happy she saw the doc yesterday to get some answers. so, we had to postpone our non-traditional thanksgiving meal. probably this coming weekend or something. i hope yours was nice! i think i read that you cooked the turkey and it was delish? any leftovers for me? that's the one thing i miss since we don't do the traditional thanksgiving meal - a turkey sandwich the next day was always what i looked forward to. anyway, i hope you had a nice holiday.
