The point being that what is being taught and how it is being taught now is worlds apart from what was taught 30 or 40 years ago. I went to school in the 70's and have that to compare with. I went back again in the 90's and got a 2 year AAS. The changes from the70's to the 90's was profound and the changes from the 90's to now is even more profound than from the 70's to the 90's. My recent business education is much more contemporary and relevant to the way things are being done now. When was the last time you took a college class for credit, let alone sat in a classroom doing it ? The world has changed. I am not a prisoner of the thinking taught so long ago. I am prepared for now, not the last century.
Coming for my SS and Medicare you say. That remains to be seen. What legislation has been passed that causes this ? So far it is just the usual fearmongering from the usual democratic suspects, the ones who have been misinforming you all along. Sorry about your 401k. Wish I had one, but I don't. I do live one day at a time and pretty much have been for a long while now. Reality is always close at hand when I go to my onc's office every other week and now I get to sit down in the big easy chair once a month for a 4 hour bag. For extra fun, I'm running out of usable veins. Pretty hard to ignore. I've been in a doctors office every other week at least, for over 16 years now. I have gone through three office remodels now and endless staffing changes. Just had my fifth doctor retire on me in the past 2 years. This will go on for as long as I am sucking air. Is what it is. That is my reality. I do hope that your reality is much better than mine. One more thing about reality ... it is a local event.
