19 years after the event, the aforementioned 5-year-old was married off a couple of weeks ago. She secured her Master's in education last year and is going to start her 3rd year teaching in a town just to the north of us later this month. Her hubby will be getting his Master's in accounting next week. The wee one just texted me that she's got a job secured after graduating engineering school at the firm she's interned with the last couple of summers. I guess it's official. They're adults.

As for T's post below regarding the way they were were raised when we arrived at Reinway my wife and I hung out behind Chris's house with E's family and even back then they were very sweet little girls.

Hard to believe until I remember that the 5-year-old I dragged on that excursion graduates high school next year, and I'm staring down the barrel of teaching the littlest one how to drive.

That motor hotel in Pasadena and the Deli where we had Sunday brunch were both way cool. Kris' Reinway was epic and to invite us to Reinstock just to be nice and we swarmed him from near and far. Meeting so many people made that meetup something truly special.
